If the saying is true – no gain no pain – then this mountain will be able to offer great emotions. A peak with character and personality, a long and tiring climb, an exciting journey. Two different countries, Italy and Switzerland, three possible itineraries:
NORMAL ROUTE – On the Italian side, among coniferous forests and glaciers, equipped walls, vertical steps and a final aerial ridge. BIANCOGRAT RIDGE – On the Swiss side, one of the most sought-after ridges in the Alps, a sort of sharp blade that pierces the sky and reaches directly to the summit of Piz Bernina. CROSSING OF PIZ PALU' AND PIZ BERNINA – A tour of depth and prestige between Switzerland and Italy, a privileged terrace at high altitude, unsurpassed for satisfaction and views.
Program: VIA NORMALE, G1 – Departure from Lake Campo Moro 1990m and ascent to Rifugio Marco e Rosa 3597m. G2 - Ascent to 4049m of Piz Bernina and return to the valley. BIANCOGRAT RIDGE, G1 – Departure from Pontresina 1850m and ascent to Tschierva Hutte 2584. G2 - Ascent to 4049m of Piz Bernina and return via Rifugio Diavolezza. CROSSING OF PIZ PALU' AND PIZ BERNINA, G1 – From Lagalb by cable car to the Diavolezza refuge 2973m. G2 – Piz palù crossing and Marco e Rosa refuge 3597m. G3 - Piz Bernina 4049m and return to Lagalb via the Fortezza ridge and Diavolezza cable car.
The fee includes: UIAGM mountain guide service, logistical organisation, insurance, technical material, souvenir photo. Not included: shelters, transfers and ski lifts for oneself and the guide to be divided among the participants.
