The Limarò river trek is a fascinating experience, where adventure and exploration mix in a grandiose and wild context. An aquatic hiking tour that winds through imperceptible paths and numerous fords in the bed of the Sarca river, inside the Limarò gorge, a deep and evocative gorge, enclosed between yellow and imposing vertical walls. The waters of the Sarca river originate directly from the Adamello glacier and flow into Lake Garda: the river trek ends right near the town of Sarche, where the steep walls suddenly collapse, leaving room for the valley of the same name which with Arco di Trento representing a mecca for climbing (infinite number of crags, multi-pitch routes and mild climate all year round).
For the more demanding, the possibility of opting for the full version, a majestic adventure which from Ponte Romano, a few steps from the Comano thermal baths, leads to Sarche, in the valley of the same name (intended exclusively for well-trained people, for an overall commitment of a full day).
What to bring: shorts, t-shirt and shoes (trainers or boots) to wear in the water. Waterproof backpack with sweatshirt, snacks and drink. Hours: 09:00-14:00 and 14:00-19:00.
