This is what this tour looks like, when at Passo Presena - as soon as you get off the cable car - a grandiose spectacle appears, an infinite expanse of snow and ice, with the Vedretta del Mandrone and Pian di Neve, the largest glacier in the Alps Italian. A taste of what awaits us, an exciting journey that combines high altitude, superb environment and historical value. A journey between present and past along the entrenchment routes used by the Alpini during the 1st World War, mostly above three thousand meters above sea level, through memorable passages and two long and aerial walkways restored in 2011 precisely where they were destroyed in era from enemy fire and replaced with a tunnel in the rock which is still present today.
