If you are attracted to ski mountaineering, this is the right course you are looking for. Knowing and knowing how to independently manage your outings and make the most of your potential. To live all your experiences in ON mode, so that adventure and fun are always supported by conscious choices and behaviors.
Programme: sensitivity and adaptation to different types of snow, descent behavior and tactics, risk assessment and management, ascent technique with skins and self-rescue. NB: the program may vary based on weather conditions, the level of physical fitness and abilities of the participants, unpredictable events upstream and/or the advice of your mountain guide.
What to bring: layered clothing, gloves, helmet, mask, backpack with energy bars and hot drink, ski mountaineering equipment, self-rescue kit (artva, shovel and probe). Location: Madonna di Campiglio and surroundings (Trentino and Alto Adige), according to the best conditions of the period. Hours: 08:00-16:00. Required skills: intermediate level on slope skis (L4: parallel skis - red slopes), alongside good physical shape.
The fee includes: UIAGM mountain guide service, insurance, souvenir photo. Possible rental of a self-help set €12 and equipment €40 (rates per person and per day). Not included: shelters, transfers and ski lifts for oneself and the guide to be divided among the participants.
