PRESANELLA WHITE TRAVERSE | Skimo
If reaching the summit of Cima Presanella is an exciting achievement, doing it on skis is a memorable experience. Even more so, with a complete crossing at altitude from south to north, passing from the sunny slopes of Val Genova to the shaded slopes of Val di Sole. Precisely where the snow remains fresh and soft like powder, for a great descent and of great satisfaction. Two days of pure magic in a wild and uncontaminated context. A night spent in the beautiful Roberti bivouac. The ideal choice for a ski tour based on adventure and strong emotions.
Does your energy+ have no limits? Here you can really overdo it. Upon request, the possibility of completing the entire crossing on the same day, with a dizzying iron-tour (+2600/-2300m). Does the idea interest you? Dream, explore, have fun.
Program: G1 – Meeting in the morning with the guide in Pinzolo. Transfer to Val Genova 958m. Ascent and overnight stay at the Roberti Bivacco 2204m. G2 – Cima Presanella 3558m, Sella di Freshfield 3375m, Masi di Stavel 1250m. Return to Pinzolo by shuttle taxi.
The fee includes: UIAGM mountain guide service, logistical organisation, professional insurance, souvenir photo. Not included: bivouac management with dinner and breakfast (1/50€, 2+/25€pp) and transfers. Possible rental of a self-help set €12 and equipment €40 (rates per person and per day).
