ORIZZONTI LIBERI – VAL BREGUZZO | Technical Hiking
Adventure and history, in the footsteps of the Great War. Through imperceptible tracks and paths. Positions, artifacts and entrenchment routes. Set up by Austro-Hungarian soldiers, right on the first line of military operations in the upper Val Breguzzo. A set of testimonies that have now become an incredible mountaineering journey. Exposed passages on the ridge on Cima Uzza, sections equipped like a via ferrata close to Cima Valbona, easy climbing passages along the mountaineering climb to the Cop di Breguzzo peak 3002m, the highest and most imposing queen peak of the entire amphitheatre. Without forgetting the beauty of the Maggiasone basin and the Passo del Frate, immersed in a unique and inimitable view, between immaculately white rock walls (saccaroid white marble). All blended in a grandiose setting, two days interspersed with a night spent outdoors, in the name of a unique and emotional bivouac experience, in an absolutely magical location.
Program: G1 – Meeting in Breguzzo and transfer by car to Malga d'Arnò 1600m. Passo del Frate 2248m, Cima Uccia 2678m, Cima Valbona 2889m, bivouac at Passo Boldone 2700m. G2 – Porte di Danerba 2711m, Cop di Breguzzo 3002m, Rifugio Trivena 1650m, Ponte Pianone 1230m. Machine recovery in Malga d'Arnò.
